We at CTH Ericson love tweed and have a penchant for Harris Tweed.
A Harris Tweed fabric consists of 100% pure new wool that is spun, dyed and finished on the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The fabric is woven by hand, on manual looms by islanders in their homes on the small islands around the Isle of Harris off the northwest coast of Scotland.
The Harris Tweed organization checks that all rules are followed before the fabric is allowed to be marked with the Harris Tweed symbol.
A hat, cap or scarf in Harris Tweed is something you can wear for the rest of your life thanks to the fantastic quality.
