Hatten CTH x Lantz/Varghans
The hat "Hatten" is a collaboration between the design duo Lantz/Varghans and CTH Ericson.
The starting point of the collaboration was to create a completely Swedish-made hat that is designed, woven, hand-printed and sewn in Sweden.
Lantz/Varghans has designed the unique pattern "Summer Night" with inspiration from bright, warm nights with a nod to the past.
Each hat in the collection is unique as the hand printed fabric "Sommarnatt" is cut differently for each copy. The hat is also available in three colorways; green, red and yellow.

Lantz/Varghans (Ivar Lantz & Elvira Varghans) is a design duo based in Malmö working with graphic design, illustration and layout. In recent years, they have focused on patterns for textiles and hand-print fabric in Malmö. They work in an analog way with paper and scissors which is the basis of all their projects.
To measure your hat size, wrap a tape measure around your head just above your ears. The tape should fit comfortably – not too tight. Round up to the nearest size.
If you have no tape measure, you can measure with a string, which you then measure with a ruler.

This product is made in Sweden and built on a tradition that started already in the year 1885, when Carl Theodor Ericson, fourth generation hat maker, founded the C.Th Ericsons Hat Factory in Borlänge, Sweden.
Over the years, CTH’s high-quality headwear would become a part of Swedish cultural and industrial heritage. Today, almost 140 years later, we are still a family business, our hats are still manufactured by hand and we are still creating modern classics for future generations.
Not much has changed, really. And in that we take a lot of pride.

Växbo Lin is one of the last remaining linen weaving mills in Sweden.
The most well preserved sites from the heydays of flax and linen production are found in Växbo. The small flax sheds and workshops in Trolldalen bear witness to the flax-growing peasantry’s utilisation of hydropower. Växbo Lin was founded on this cultural heritage site in 1989. At first, production was centred on the spinnery, but after a few years we began weaving as well. All our products consist of 100% linen.
In 2006 the current owners Hanna and Jacob purchased the factory and began further restoration. Their mission is that Växbo Lin will continue to develop, produce and market linen products while creating desire and value for both customer and worker, and to keep alive the handicraft tradition of linen-making, native to the Växbo region.
