Loffe Winter cap m/59 - Army Green
Loffe is a true Swedish classic, inspired by the Swedish Armed Forces field cap m/59, and sewn in Sweden at the CTH Ericson hat factory in Borlänge.
The m/59 is a well-proven, functional and warm winter cap, perfect for both forest and sea, and for an active outdoor life during the Scandinavian autumn and winter.
The cap is made from a army green, water-resistant and breathable Cordura® fabric (recycled nylon) that withstands rain and snow. The ear flaps are made from original Norwegian pile fleece from Helly Hansen. The cap also features a unique fold-down forehead protector.
The ear flaps and back section can be folded up and fastened on top of the cap with Velcro. The same Velcro strap can then be used to secure the ear flaps under the chin, ensuring they fit snugly against the ears. The long, fur-lined back also helps keep the neck warm.

What we call a "Re-source fabric" is a leftover surplus fabric that has not been used. By sewing a hat or cap from a leftover fabric contribute to sustainability and circular flows in the textile industry, by using the resources available instead of producing new fabrics.
The hats and caps where we use Re-Source fabrics is an excellent environmental choice as it is made of leftover fabrics that do not go to waste.
We work with the company Rekotex in Borås, Sweden. Rekotex is a company that is offering surplus fabrics from fashion companies to other textile companies.
To measure your hat size, wrap a tape measure around your head just above your ears. The tape should fit comfortably – not too tight. Round up to the nearest size.
If you have no tape measure, you can measure with a string, which you then measure with a ruler.

This product is made in Sweden and built on a tradition that started already in the year 1885, when Carl Theodor Ericson, fourth generation hat maker, founded the C.Th Ericsons Hat Factory in Borlänge, Sweden.
Over the years, CTH’s high-quality headwear would become a part of Swedish cultural and industrial heritage. Today, almost 140 years later, we are still a family business, our hats are still manufactured by hand and we are still creating modern classics for future generations.
Not much has changed, really. And in that we take a lot of pride.
